march of dimes
Every day 1 in 8 babies born in the U.S. arrive too soon. Circle K members help by raising funds annually for March of Dimes programs to help prevent prematurity. The March of Dimes currently focuses on raising awareness of prematurity and reducing the rate of premature births. CKI members collect money to support the March of Dimes and participate in the annual March for Babies, which usually happens in late April.
unicef usa
The United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF) works in more than 190 countries and territories to put children first. UNICEF has helped save more children’s lives than any other humanitarian organization, by providing health care and immunizations, clean water and sanitation, nutrition, education, emergency relief and more. UNICEF USA supports UNICEF's work through fundraising, advocacy and education in the United States. Together, we are working toward the day when no children die from preventable causes and every child has a safe and healthy childhood.
Circle K has partnered with UNICEF USA on a variety of issues, including salt iodization efforts to eliminate iodine deficiency disorders, providing oral rehydration salts to help children with diarrhea, and vaccinating women to eliminate maternal and neonatal tetanus. Currently, CKI members are supporting UNICEF’s water, sanitation and hygiene (WASH) programs in Haiti.
students team up to fight hunger
What is STUFH?
It is a U.S. National non-profit organization that stands for Students. Their purpose is to put food in the mouths of those who need it most. Their mission is to increase the gathering of food at college campuses throughout the country, which will link the hearts and souls of college students with their less fortunate hungry neighbors.

WHAT CAN I DO TO HELP OUT?
-Encourage your club, school, K-Family, and friends to skip one meal. Give the money that would be spent on that meal to your local Community Area Food Bank.
-Get K-Family, or student organizations to CANtribute and CANstruct a masterpiece out of cans. All you need are cans, and imagination. Allow two weeks to a month for participating groups to collect cans, and have the groups meet one day to build their individual CANstructions. You can even make it a CANpetition!
-Grow your own green and donate it to your local soup kitchens!
st. baldrick's foundation
WHAT IS ST. BALDRICKS?
The St. Baldrick’s Foundation is a volunteer-powered charity committed to funding the most promising research to find cures for childhood cancers and give survivors long, healthy lives.

WHAT MAKES THE ST. BALDRICK'S FOUNDATION UNIQUE?
The St. Baldrick's Foundation does one thing and they do it well: fund childhood cancer research. They take great care of the funds raised by their generous volunteers and supporters to direct every possible dollar to carefully selected research grants. Whether it’s through their signature head-shaving events, partnerships or advocacy initiatives, their primary focus is to have the greatest impact for kids with cancer around the world.

Head-shaving Events
St. Baldrick’s began as a head-shaving event and that continues to be the signature event of the Foundation. “Shavees℠” ask friends and family to make donations “on their head” and in return, they attend one of thousands of volunteer-organized events around the world where they have their heads shaved in solidarity with kids fighting cancer.Since 2000 more than 390,000 shavees—including more than 49,000 women—have shaved their heads at 9,000 events, raising critical funds for childhood cancer research.

NOT READY TO SHAVE YOUR HEAD? DON'T WORRY, ST. BALDRICK'S HAS OTHER IDEAS FOR YOU!
