 |
Carolinas District Circle K members gathered for a fun-filled superhero-themed weekend at Carowinds Campgrounds from October 2-4, 2009. They bonded in their teams of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Fantastic Four, The Incredibles, X-Men, and Mighty Morphin' Power Rangers as well as with every attendee. The first night was full of icebreakers. Saturday morning, everyone participated in a service project and then field games in the afternoon. The night ended in a campfire atmosphere, complete with s'mores! Sunday was spent with Kiwanis and Key Club from the Carolinas at Carowinds Amusement Park, listening to a fantastic speaker and riding on thrilling rollercoasters.
